MarketingDays

About MarketingDays

MarketingDays is built and maintained by Vishal, a solo web publisher based in India. The site exists because every other Indian marketing calendar is a static list, and a list of 300 days is not a plan for any single brand.

Who makes this

MarketingDays is written and maintained by Vishal, working alone. Every relevance score on the site was assigned by hand. Corrections go to the contact page and are applied in the next build.

Why it exists

Search for an Indian social media calendar and the results are month-wise lists of every observance in the year, published by agencies as lead magnets. A jewellery brand and a gym get the same 300 days. That is a reference, not a plan.

MarketingDays filters that list down per industry, scores what remains, and adds the one thing a list cannot give you: the date you have to start. Diwali on the calendar is useless in the last week of October. Diwali with a brief-by date in mid-September is a plan.

What it is not

MarketingDays is not a scheduler. It does not connect to social accounts, publish posts, or manage an inbox. Tools like Buffer and Later do that job well. This site answers the question that comes before scheduling.

How pages are made

Every page is generated from a dataset by a build script. Nothing is written by a language model. If a sentence on a calendar page would read identically for a different industry, it is removed. The full method is on the methodology page.
