MarketingDays

What should your brand post this month?

MarketingDays returns the observances that matter for one industry in one month, scored 1 to 5, with the date creative must be briefed. The corpus covers 30 observances across 8 industries for 2026 to 2027. Pick an industry and a month to see August 2026 ranked, or open a calendar below.

How does MarketingDays decide which days matter?

MarketingDays scores every tracked observance from 1 to 5 for each of 8 industries. A day scoring 3 or higher is an anchor day for that industry and appears on its calendar. Days scoring 1 or 2 are excluded entirely, which is why a jewellery calendar and a fitness calendar for the same month are different documents. Scoring is set out on the methodology page.

What is a creative lock date?

A lock date is the day creative production must begin for a campaign to go live on time. MarketingDays stores a lead time in days for every observance and subtracts it from the date. Diwali carries 45 days of lead time, so its brief is due more than six weeks ahead — usually in the previous month.
